Sara graduated in Veterinary Medicine in 2002 from the University of Milan, where she also completed her PhD focusing on Spontaneous Pathologies of the laboratory rat.

In 2009, she successfully passed the ECVP certification exam.

Presently, Sara holds the position of assistant professor of Veterinary Pathology at VetAgro Sup in France.
